Early this morning 18-year-old Nathaniel Sanders was shot to death by Austin Police officer Leonardo Quintana at the Walnut Creek Apartment Complex in East Austin. I arrived at the scene at about noon and spoke to residents who were gathered outside. You won’t hear these voices anywhere else.

well, folks, this is the first blog entry in a minute. as our listeners may know, kpwr is a new studio, down the way from the rhizome, still somewhere in the eastside. it feels different here, which is to be expected.

Negotiations between AT & T and the Communications Workers of America continue to move slowly.
