we've got an amazing array of skills planned (see the list at the bottom) and we're also still looking for a few more workshop leaders, especially in the following areas:

We'll be throwing our 12th birthday bash at Red 7 (611 E. 7th St.) on
Thursday, May 21st with Austin's own Shearwater headlining. The Theater
Fire (DFW), The Yellow Bike Gospel Choir, and Buttercup (SA) will be
filling out the bill, so mark your calendars now and make sure to ask off

9 pm.
At City Hall (301 W. 2nd Street) on Thursday, May 21, at 6:00 PM, City

and encourage others to do the same - just like you did when you voted on
Saturday May 9th, right?. There will be at least three group rides to City
Hall, all of which will merge afterwards into a very huge, very short ride
to the YBP birthday bash. For updates, see Jason at www.atxbs.com. If you

prior and sign up to "speak on" the plan. You don't actually have to

18-year-old Nathaniel Sanders is dead. According to the Austin Police Department, Sanders and two other men were sleeping in a car parked in the complex, when an Austin Police officer approached the vehicle. Police say they suspected the vehicle had been used in recent robberies.
Officer Leonardo Quintana took the man in the driver’s seat into custody, then came back for the other two men. APD says Quintana saw a weapon in Sanders’ lap and shot him. Police say the third individual got out of the car and charged the officer. The officer shot him too - that man is now recovering in the hospital.
